Phalanstery Module

An interesting installation by Bureau Spectacular / Jimenez Lai, this rotating module was born from the idea that all surfaces — including ceilings and walls — could serve as functional space. The structure rotates once per house, just like a clock in which every 15 minutes, one of the surfaces becomes parallel to the ground. Reminds me of a hamster wheel…

The concept is derived from a comic story written and illustrated by Jimenez about a group of citizens riding a Noah’s Ark Spaceship to a new planet far away.
